Haridian Sosa has been working in Anfi for the last three years in charge of the Adventure programme where she ran hiking, Nordic walking, rapple and absailing activities.
She told us, “I’m very happy to take on the challenge of running the Anfi Wellness Centre. We’ve carried out a total revamp of the gym, giving it a fresher look and a new image.”
The thirty-one-year old who is qualified fitness and sports activities teacher and has studied nutrition went on, “We’re planning on running exercise classes throughout the day and will tailor the classes according to the feedback we receive from the gym users. Initially there will be a selection of dance based classes and total body conditioning classes, Pilates, cross training, intensive circuit training classes – which optimise total body training using normal body movements. The aim of the classes will be to improve muscle resistance, movement, co-ordination, control cardio-vascular, and, of course, physical appearance.”
The Anfi Wellness Centre will also be offering personalised training and nutritional advice and Haridian aims to create a welcoming, dynamic and motivating environment where everyone will feel comfortable regardless of their age or physical condition.
Haridian continued, “We’ll help everyone to fulfil their goals – whether clients want to bulk up, lose weight or simply get in shape.”
Pablo Varela is a physiotherapist, osteopath, sports injury specialist and has been working in Anfi for the last two and a half years in Anfi Wellness.
The twenty-seven-year old told us, “We will be offering the same treatments in the new gym but with the added benefit that I can recommend and demonstrate exercises and workouts to compliment my physiotherapy treatments to increase strength, improve posture, rehabilitation, optimise flexibility to avoid future injuries.”
He will be continuing his good work with his repeating clients in the newly revamped Anfi Wellness Centre as many of his clients come back and see him on each return visit to Anfi – some as frequently as every three months.
“I’m really looking forward to carrying on my work in the new gym and keen to give an improved service in this new environment. I’m also eager to start offering my services to the general public”
“I offer a full range of treatments but the most popular are relaxation massage and functional recovery – which is general recovery from injuries and ailments”
The Anfi Wellness Centre also offers has a hair salon and a beauty therapist service.
